RESCUE DIVER

Build your skills. Be ready to respond.

TAKE YOUR DIVING TO THE NEXT LEVEL

Ready for a new challenge?

The PADI Advanced Open Water Diver course is designed to build your confidence, expand your skills and introduce you to new types of diving.
It’s a great way to gain more experience while diving with an instructor and discover which areas of diving interest you most.

1. PADI ELEARNING

Complete the theory online at your own pace and learn the principles of accident prevention and emergency management.

2. RESCUE SKILLS

Develop practical rescue techniques in the pool and open water, including self-rescue, managing tired or panicked divers and assisting unresponsive divers.

3. RESCUE SCENARIOS

Put your skills into practice through realistic scenarios designed to develop your decision-making, problem-solving and emergency response skills.

THE EXPERIENCE

Become a more capable diver

Rescue Diver is about more than learning how to respond to an emergency. It teaches you to recognise problems before they become emergencies and gives you the confidence to act when something goes wrong.
You’ll work through a range of practical scenarios, developing skills in self-rescue, managing diver stress, emergency equipment and assisting divers in difficulty.
By the end of the course, you’ll have a better understanding of your own abilities and limits, as well as how to help others when needed.
