Want to learn to dive but have limited time? Travelling, or living too far from town to attend evening theory classes?

Then PADI eLearning is for you!  Do all the theory online – at times and a pace to suit your busy lifestyle.

Then spend just 2 days* at the Dive Centre for the in-water practical.

Instead of spending the equivalent of several days in the classroom doing theory, you can do all of the theory online. Once you have completed the online theory, which usually takes 12-15 hours, you are ready to do the in-water practical sessions – in just 2 days* at the Dive Centre. You  complete the practical sessions and then become a PADI Open Water Diver – PADI dive certifications are recognised worldwide!

For a cost of $700 you get:

  • Online theory lessons – with up to 12 months to complete them
  • Unlimited online access to theory manuals
  • Full gear hire for the course
  •  4 boat dives
  • Accommodation for 3 nights in our Divers Lodge
  • All course fees and certification costs
  • A dive Log Book
  • Small classes – 1 to maximum of 3 student divers per course so you get individual attention

Other additional costs are for your Dive Medical (if required) and food during your stay at the dive centre.

We can schedule a PADI eLearning Open Water course on any dates to suit you, subject to instructor availability.

Please note that for all PADI Open Water courses, while a medical examination by a certified doctor is no longer a prerequisite, we do highly recommend that a medical with a certified doctor is done. It is essential that you complete a medical statement, and if you answer “yes” or “maybe” to any question on the first page of the PADI Medical Form then a dive medical with with a certified doctor is compulsory.

* All practical sessions are competency based, and are normally completed in 2 days.
